Terms & Conditions

USER TERMS & CONDITIONS AND POPIA PRIVACY NOTICE

Effective date: 13/10/2026

1. PLATFORM AND LISTINGS

DM means Direct Message Business Solutions. DM is only a directory, advertising and booking/payment intermediary, not seller, organiser or service provider. Public users cannot upload content. Listed businesses/event organisers (“Providers”) contact DM and supply/approve listings, event details, text, photos and logos, warranting accuracy, legality and publication rights. DM may edit/reject/remove listings but does not verify or endorse them. Providers remain responsible for content, permissions, licences, safety, legality, availability, tickets, performance, cancellations and refunds, and must accept separate advertising terms before publication.

2. BOOKINGS, FEES AND REFUNDS

You contract with the Provider for each ticket/event/service; DM only facilitates payment. Ticket price belongs to the organiser. DM charges a 3% ticket-price service fee plus the applicable Payment Gateway fee; both fees and the total must be shown before payment. Before ordering, the app must display Provider/contact, event/service/date/location, payment method, full cost and cancellation/refund terms, and allow review, correction or withdrawal. Terms and transaction records must be accessible to save. Contact the Provider about cancellations and ticket-price refunds. DM’s 3% and Processing fees are not refunded by DM on cancellation, to the fullest extent law permits. Payment-provider rules, mandatory legal rights/refunds and lawful bank/card disputes remain unaffected.

3. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK; DM LIABILITY

Use the Platform and rely on listings at your own risk. As law permits, DM does not guarantee listing accuracy, Provider conduct, ticket validity, event/service quality, safety, legality, availability, admission, performance, refunds or uninterrupted access. DM is not responsible for Provider listings/services, cancellations, refused entry, non-performance or third-party technical/payment failures beyond its control. Where lawful, DM, its owner, staff and agents exclude indirect/consequential loss, including travel, accommodation or lost income. Listing content or facilitating payment does not make DM the Provider or guarantor. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, DM’s gross negligence or any liability/duty that law forbids excluding. This clause must be prominently shown before booking/payment.

4. SECURITY, IP AND CHANGES

Access may be interrupted by maintenance or third-party technical/network/payment failures. Report unauthorised payments to your bank/provider. DM/licensors own the app, branding, software and original content; copying/commercial use requires permission. DM may change Terms/features; version/date and notice of material changes will be provided where law requires. Completed transactions change only as law permits.

5. POPIA PRIVACY NOTICE
